EXPERIENCE: All attorneys in the applicant office must have engaged in the practice of municipal law for an average of 2 years. In the alternative, at least 75% of the attorneys in the applicant office must be eligible for individual certification as demonstrated by a statement of the city attorney. Applicant office must be sponsored by a city attorney who is a current TCAA member (assistant city attorney must be sponsored by their city attorney).

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: All attorneys in the office must demonstrate participation in a minimum of 10 hours of continuing legal education in municipal law within the 3 years immediately preceding application or by December 31 of the year in which application is made. Please attach documentation or a statement of compliance with educational requirements.(Required)
